On Monday 15th October of 2012, Global Supply Chain Finance Ltd. (GSCF) held an “Art & More” event, in which art and business were exquisitely combined.
The event took place at the formidable Pera Museum in the vibrant city of Istanbul. The viewing of the prestigious works of Yannick Vu and Ben Jakober, “Flash-Back” and the “Golden Children” collection, was combined with a fine gathering of some of GSCF ́s clients and business partners in order to celebrate the mutual success of recent deals in the region, as well as discuss some of GSCF ́s new undertakings.
Over the past decade, art has become a very important part of GSCF’s vision. Kendall Stevens, CEO of GSCF, commented: “We have been genuinely committed to build up culture around us and found that the most logical way of doing this has been by reinvesting part of the success from our commercial ventures in supporting different expressions of art around our daily work as well as around our partners´ social environment. In this respect, we have been engaged in various art and cultural projects, including the backing of artists from developing countries, the support of children in need as well as projects aimed at bringing youngsters closer to art”.
